Service and Maintenance for the highest Availability

Special experiences with mixers in digester tanks are particularly important in sewage treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants. The on-site services of Hermann Träxler GmbH demonstrates daily the competence in mixers.

For years, Träxler has been recognized in service and maintenance of existing systems. We offer our service in entire Germany and Europe and we provide consulting services concerning aggregates of third party manufacturers such as Halberg, MAN, SIHI, Sterling and vonRoll.

Annual Maintenance for Safe Operation

Sludge mixing systems are subject to mandatory monitoring. Therefore, an annual maintenance is necessary under manufacturer's requirements in order to ensure operational safety. Träxler offers maintenance and it provides the experience from a large number of maintenance performed domestically and abroad.
Our services:

  • on-site inspection

  • inspection of power uptake and current consumption

  • inspection of the drive coupling and running smoothness

  • inspection of the draft tube guying by opening the digester tank head

  • extraction and disposal of the consumed mixer grease

  • delivery and filling with special mixer grease HT 4060 MF

  • checking all mixer functions

  • Review and discussion with the operating personnel


Customised Maintenance Contracts

We offer our customers interesting customized service contracts for draft tube mixers, large pump systems and pumping stations. Regular preventive maintenance with a preferred on-call emergency service ensures that the system is optimal operational readiness.

Disassembling of mixers and fibres/hair bulk accumulation removal

In wastewater treatment plants, fibrous materials, wipes and hairs in the wastewater repeatedly cause bulk accumulations and blockages in mixers. In this event, it is typical for the current consumption of the driving motor to increase. In addition, imbalances and overloads can be created on impeller and mixer shaft. To avoid damages, it is necessary to remove the bulk accumulation as soon as possible. This requires a shut-off of the system. Our services:

  • removal of the mixer by our service team and on-site provision of an auto-crane

  • removal of the bulk accumulation

  • removal of foreign objects (see above image)

  • inspection of impeller, shaft, and mixer drive

  • reinstallation and commissioning
